Speakers
We are excited to present to you this years inspiring speakers

ANITA JACOBY AM
An advocate for women in leadership and media, and renowned Australian television producer. Her storytelling gift has explored influential lives and significant news stories. Anita chairs the ABC Advisory Council and Women in Media, authored Secrets Beyond the Screen and received numerous awards including five AFI’s/AACTA’s, a Logie and the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Award.

CHERYL BARKER AO
A celebrated opera singer known for performances in leading opera houses worldwide. Her notable roles include Madama Butterfly and Salome. An Officer of the Order of Australia, she holds an Honorary doctorate of Music and is currently Co-Artistic Director of Pacific Opera Studios Young Artists Program and Mentor for Opera Australia’s Young Artists Program.

HEATHER EWART
As an ABC cadet in 1977, Heather became one of the national public broadcaster’s most accomplished presenters, most recently as host of Back Roads. As the ABC’s first female foreign correspondent, she reported on federal politics in the 1980s. She was on the Walkley Board and a judge of excellence in journalism for six years and authored best-selling book The Great Aussie Road Trip.
