Supporters will have the opportunity to participate in auction and raffle draws, both online and at the event. Proceeds will go to Vision Australia’s Life Ready program, supporting children and young people who are blind or have low vision. Your presence and generosity with this event will help brighten their future.

90 YEAR CELEBRATION BALL

Art Gallery of NSW, 18th September 2026

On behalf of the Black & White Committee, I would like to sincerely thank you for generously supporting the 2026 Black & White Ball, celebrating 90 years of fundraising for the Children’s Services of Vision Australia.

There was a wonderful atmosphere at the Art Gallery of NSW, with guests welcomed by the talented Scots College Pipers and entertained during pre-dinner drinks by the Australian Army Trio. Guests then enjoyed beautiful food and wine, along with mesmerising performances from the Australian Army Big Band, Kirsten Busby, Daniel Macey, Matt Reardon and the energetic Bermuda Social.

We have received many wonderful positive comments from our guests, who thoroughly enjoyed the evening, particularly the auctions, prizes and outstanding entertainment.

The auction and raffle were also extremely successful, and the funds raised will make a significant contribution to the Children’s Services of Vision Australia supporting children who are  blind or have low vision and their families.

We are truly grateful for everyone’s support in helping us celebrate 90 years of fundraising in such a memorable way and look forward to seeing you at our future events.

Celebrating 41 Years of Women of Achievement

Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, 2nd June

The Black and White Committee hosted its 41st Women of Achievement Lunch, bringing together nearly 300 guests to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of women while raising vital funds to support children who are blind or have low vision through Vision Australia’s Life Ready Programs.

The event was expertly presented by Richard Lyle and Janine Perrett, with inspiring addresses from Tara Brown, The Hon Justice Jacqueline Gleeson, and Nancye Hayes AM. Guests were also treated to a beautiful performance by Kirsten Busby, adding a special touch to an unforgettable afternoon.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended and generously supported this important event. Your contribution helps provide essential services and opportunities for children who are blind or have low vision, empowering them to build confidence, independence, and life-ready skills.
